__The
Bob
Chandler Foundation was created to
further the beliefs and principles of former college
and professional player and sportscaster, Bob Chandler,
and to serve as the memorial for those who continue
to fight against cancer.
__Bob
Chandler exemplified the highest standards of moral
character, commitment to family values and dedication
to athletic excellence. As such, the Foundation's purpose
is to:
- Encourage
and support athletic talent and scholarship in young
people
- Cultivate
the development of character through athletic discipline
- Provide
funds for cancer research and support for people affected
by cancer
__We
are committed to achieving these goals in memory of
Bob Chandler. Bob inspired others to strive for excellence
and perseverance, not only in athletic endeavors but
in all life pursuits, including his battle with cancer.
The Bob Chandler Foundaiton supports the ongoing search
for solutions.

a scholarship in Bob's memory,
which is awarded annually to a
USC football player. |

for the athletic facilities at
Camp Ronald McDonald for Good
Times located in the San Jacinto
Mountains, near Idyllwild,
California. The camp provides
young cancer patients with a unique
camping experience. |

athletes who have been inspirational
in facing the challenges of cancer.
